I’VE BEEN very remiss in blogging about these but the food allergy parents’ support group is trundling on happily, with different get-togethers happening in different parts of London. The next two are in Ealing and at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, but there are plans for another north London one, hopefully in November. I’ll keep you posted.
In the meantime the details for the coming two are as follows – as usual, please email info@allergysupportgroup.org.uk to register your interest and pop your name down. The only proviso is that your littl’un has to have been formally diagnosed with a food allergy by a doctor. You’ll get the chance to compare notes with other parents and ask allergy experts your burning questions:
Saturday 6 October, 3pm-5pm, Nicholas Gardens, Ealing, W5 5HY
Our amazing Dr Bob Boyle will be on hand at this one to answer questions, along with the lovely Katherine Phillips, St Mary’s specialist allergy nurse.
Wednesday 17 October, 6.30pm-8pm, School of Medicine Committee Room, St Mary’s Hospital, W2 1NY
The fab Dr Claudia Gore, also from St Mary’s and who presided over the very first group in Barnes, will be overseeing this evening meeting.
